Robert A. Cohen, J.D., Real Estate Consultant
Rob was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He grew up in the Boston area, where he graduated from Harvard University in 1982. After spending two years in Madison Wisconsin, he returned to Boston where he attended the Boston University School of Law, was awarded his Juris Doctor Degree, passed the Massachusetts Bar, and began to practice law on the “front lines” as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Boston. After several years of conducting trials, Rob expressed an interest in Environmental and Land Use law. He was named General Counsel to the City of Boston Zoning Board of Appeals in 1994 and formed and acted as lead litigator for the Boston Environmental Strike team in 1996.
In 1999 Rob was appointed Director of Plans and Zoning for the City of Boston and Assistant Commissioner of the Inspectional Department where he remained for three years until moving to Arizona. In Arizona Rob passed the Bar in the summer of 2002 doing municipal contract work in the Phoenix area. In 2003 Rob received his Arizona Real Estate License and has worked with Keller Williams Southwest Realty since that time.
The current focus of Rob’s life, aside from his love of real estate, are his t wo young boys, James Wesley (2 and a half) and Matthew William (1 and a quarter) Rob enjoys travel, writing (he has published articles in several legal journals), golf and history. Rob made the move to Arizona so that his parents, who reside at the Boulders, would have the opportunity to watch their grandchildren thrive in the Arizona sunshine.
Rob has extensive experience in complex negotiation, land use, zoning and building code issues. He has spent his life in public service and working to improve people’s quality of life, and is eager to work with you to help you meet your goals.

Laura is originally from a small suburb in
Cleveland, Ohio
. Her family moved out to the Valley of the Sun fifteen years ago and could not imagine living anywhere else. Laura's family is known for their entrepreneurial spirit and drive - her mother, Susie, owning a successful jewelry store and her father, Michael, owning a commercial signs company. Laura graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson with a BS is Business Administration and her major in Finance. She is a licensed REALTOR® for the State of Arizona. Before beginning a career in real estate, Laura took some time off and traveled throughout the states as well as
Europe
. Laura came to us from Realty Executives where she assisted in the day to day activities regarding escrow, clientele, and agent real estate business. She conducted research on various residential developments in the Valley to assist their clients with city and community knowledge. Laura's business acumen, professionalism and bubbly personality will aid our clients immensely during their home finding process, the execution of their closing, and help getting started with finding resources after their moved in. Beside Laura’s passion for real estate, her interests in life include traveling, reading, spending time with friends and family, and helping others. Alissa Coley, Escrow Officer
Ali was born and raised in Marquette, Michigan, off of beautiful Lake Superior. In 1999 she moved to Phoenix in search of greater opportunity (and warmer weather). She has had extensive administration and office management experience working for Real Estate Market Centers and a solid background in assisting clients in the fast paced aspects of Escrow. Currently Ali uses those experiences to ensure smooth and flawless transactions at the Talon Group. As an extended member of the Daley Team, she manages tasks and details that help exceed the expectations of our clients and ensure client satisfaction as they close on their new home.
